Summary of Networking Event Walk-about  •  April 30, 2014

Several dozen secondary immersion educators met at the Minnesota Department of Education for a networking event co-sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Education and MAIN. Attendees shared information about their programs and discussed the challenges of secondary immersion program design, instructional methodology, staffing, and a number of other hot topics.

Teachers and administrators came from sixteen districts and charter schools from around the state including the greater metropolitan area of the Twin Cities, St. Cloud, and Winona.

The results of the walk-about activity where participants wrote down their ideas about the topics under discussion are posted on the following pages.

In addition, a number of articles are available online from the American Council on Immersion Education Newsletter specific to secondary immersion. The Secondary Immersion Resources page contains links to those articles.
